Program Summary
Purdue’s selling and sales management major combines business education with the human side of management to prepare you for success in the fast-growing field of professional selling. Ranked among the top sales programs nationally according to the Sales Education Foundation, the curriculum emphasizes practical experience through field placements, sales competitions and sales-focused student organizations. Build skills in communication, negotiation, leadership and customer relationship management. Students also gain real-world experience through internships and partnerships with the Center for Professional Selling, located on campus. Graduates are prepared for roles in account management, global sales, marketing, recruiting and entrepreneurship.
