Program Summary

In applied mathematics, study mathematical theory and its real-world applications — building models, solving equations and developing the algorithms behind modern science and technology. You work with faculty on fundamental and interdisciplinary research, often through the Center for Computational and Applied Mathematics. With courses in differential equations, statistics, numerical methods and more, this program is ideal for students interested in engineering, finance or computational research.
