Tho Le and James Tanoos
Purdue Polytechnic faculty are leading the charge to strengthen the U.S. semiconductor supply chain through innovative research and curriculum. Faculty members Tho Le and James Tanoos, from industrial engineering and supply chain technology, are collaborating with students and partners across Purdue to prepare for the nation’s efforts to bring semiconductor production back home. This initiative comes in response to the CHIPS Act, which provides $280 billion to boost the U.S. semiconductor industry, with Purdue at the forefront through a new partnership with SK Hynix to build a state-of-the-art facility in the university’s Research Park.
