Launched in 2021 and now proudly sponsored by Corteva Agriscience, the Corteva Agriscience – Purdue’s Support for Success Program, also known as the SFS Program, is a dynamic initiative designed to empower students in the College of Agriculture through meaningful community connections and professional development opportunities.

Rooted in the belief that every student, undergraduate or graduate, deserves access to resources that support their success, this program offers a welcoming network built to help you thrive at Purdue and in your future career.

Each year, the program hosts free professional development events, including:

Beyond professional development, the program is deeply committed to fostering a strong sense of community within the College of Agriculture. Whether it’s organizing free trips to local museums or co-sponsoring social events with student organizations, the SFS Program creates opportunities for students to connect, unwind, and build lasting relationships.

All students in the College of Agriculture, both undergraduate and graduate, are invited to participate. Since its launch, the program has welcomed more than 1,400 event attendees and continues to grow each semester.

SFS Program Events for Spring 2026

Workshop - Budgeting and Savings

Budgeting and saving are important for your financial stability, ensuring you can pay common expenses like rent, tuition, student loans, credit card bills, and entertainment. But what exactly is budgeting? Learn proactive ways to approach and organize your finances.

Workshop - Caring for Self and Others

Learn warning signs of someone struggling with a mental health concern, how to advocate for self and others, and common misconceptions of mental health. This presentation aims to empower listeners with the knowledge of how to care for others and themselves when undergoing a mental health concern while making mental health a comfortable topic of conversation.

Leadership Retreat - Living in Possibility

Living in Possibility is more than a program—it's a mindset shift for leaders ready to embrace what could be. This transformative experience helps you build “possibility thinking” as a powerful leadership skill. You'll learn to see beyond limitations, challenge assumptions about how things are “supposed” to be, and open yourself to innovative solutions.

Community Social - All Fired Up! Pottery Studio

Students who attend any of the three professional development events will be invited to a community social at All Fired Up! Pottery Studio in West Lafayette. During this free event, you’ll have the opportunity to choose a pottery piece and glaze it.
