Meet Our Students
Jeremiah Geise
Jeremiah Geise found his passion for livestock on his fourth-generation family farm in Arlington, Indiana. Through internships, he discovered his interest in working with goats, precision agriculture in livestock and genetics. “I chose Purdue for its abundant opportunities, both within the department and beyond. Thanks to Purdue’s affordability, I’ve completed my entire educational journey debt-free.”
Meet Our Students
Emma Bailey
Emma Bailey grew up on a small farm in Indiana, which led her to study animal sciences at Purdue with a pre-veterinary medicine concentration. She’s developed skills and knowledge through hands-on experiences and a study abroad trip to Ireland, with plans to become a mixed-animal veterinarian. “I’ve always worked with animals. Growing up around a small cow-calf herd made me realize I wanted to do this my whole life.”
