Assistant Professor of Poultry Science
The Department of Animal Sciences at Purdue University is seeking an Assistant Professor with research interests in poultry science. This is an academic year (9-months, with additional opportunities for summer appointment), tenure track position. Candidates should have a broad understanding of poultry production across sectors and exhibit depth of expertise in one or more disciplines relevant to the industry, such as nutrition, management, ethology, welfare, physiology, digital agriculture, genetics, egg production and processing or meat production. Researchers who apply integrated approaches and methodologies or One Health approaches are particularly encouraged to apply as are applicants from various fields including but not limited to animal science, veterinary medicine, agricultural engineering and agricultural systems, among others.
