Best advice going into college

When you’re on campus, don’t be “cool and mysterious.” Talk about your niche interest that you’re a little embarrassed about. It may lead you to a club full of people who love it just as much. Introduce yourself to the stranger sitting in class next to you. They might be your new study partner or even a life-long friend. Most of all, don’t be too cool to sing the fight song at the top of your lungs and show your school pride every chance you get. When it comes to college, you get out of it what you put in, so go all in!

Favorite Purdue tradition

Fountains runs! Running through the fountains on campus are almost like a rite of passage for students. During Boiler Gold Rush, they’re a fun way to kick off your college journey and get a taste of the exciting experiences ahead. By the time graduation rolls around, doing a final fountain run feels like a celebration of everything you’ve accomplished.
