Best advice going into college

Take advantage of the many resources readily available to get your questions answered before arriving on campus. There’s a lot you won’t know going into college — and that’s completely normal! To keep from feeling overwhelmed, be proactive: explore Purdue’s websites, give our call centers a ring, watch student testimonials or explore virtually. The more you prepare now, the more confident and ready you’ll feel on day one — so you can focus on building connections and making the most of your time here.

Favorite Purdue experience

My favorite experiences at Purdue have been attending sporting events. With 18 intercollegiate sports teams and 35 more offered through clubs and intramurals, there’s always something exciting happening. Whether you’re cheering on the Boilermakers in Ross-Ade Stadium or watching a friendly intramural volleyball match at the Co-Rec, the energy is contagious. Each event guarantees a unique experience in bringing people together and growing that sense of pride and community that makes Purdue feel like home.
