Eligibility for IB Credit

• Credit may be awarded for both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) IB exams.
• To receive credit, you must request that your official IB scores be sent electronically directly to Purdue University West Lafayette from the IB organization.

Scoring and Policy Updates

• Effective fall 2025, IB exams are scored on a 1–7 scale.
• Students must earn a score of 4 or higher to receive Purdue credit.
• IB transfer credit policies are subject to change without notice.
