Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth

United Nations Academic Impact

The University of Auckland is chair of the United Nations Academic Impact Hub for Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8).

SDG 8 aims to promote sustained, inclusive economic growth, full employment, and decent work for all by 2030. It focuses on increasing productivity, reducing youth unemployment, eradicating forced labour and slavery, and protecting labour rights. The hub contributes to these targets through research, teaching and education curriculum and resources, engagement and partnerships.
