Upcoming Intake: January 2026 – Apply Now
ELA’s first Academic English / Pathway intake of 2026 will commence on 19 January 2026.\ The application deadline for this intake is 16 November 2025.
We encourage prospective students to apply soon for the following programmes:
- English Pathway for Postgraduate Studies (EPPS) – 10 weeks
- English Pathway for Undergraduate Studies (EPUS) – 10 weeks
- Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP) – 20 weeks (PG & UG)
- Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes Plus (FCertEAP Plus) – 30 weeks (PG)
- Academic English (AE)
Important Visa Information\ Please note that October to March is Immigration New Zealand’s peak season for student visa processing. To avoid delays, international students are strongly advised to apply at least 3 months before their intended travel date. Please visit Immigration New Zealand
