### Canvas in-person support

### Course and assessment design

### Canvas courses: Staff Access Upload Tool
The Staff Access Upload Tool is a feature of the Canvas Management Console enabling course access authorisers to grant staff access to Canvas courses quickly and efficiently. Group Services: administrators, team leaders, and managers can use the tool to add [staff roles in Canvas](https://teachwell.auckland.ac.nz/canvas/people-in-your-course/).

## Faculty Access Portal
The Faculty Access Portal is part of the University’s disability case management system, which allows course coordinators and course directors to securely view students’ learning and teaching adjustments.
Eilidh Thorburn from Student Disability Services held a drop-in session for staff in June 2024.

## FeedbackFruits
### 24/6 live support
In FeedbackFruits, look for the chat icon in the lower-left hand corner. This will connect you with their 24/6 live-support service (Monday – Saturday), where you can send a direct message to their team.

## H5P

If you or colleagues would like guidance on achieving teaching goals with h5p or other tools, you can request a [TeachWell Consult](https://teachwell.auckland.ac.nz/support/ranga-auaha-ako/) session with a Learning Designer from Ranga Auaha Ako | Learning and Teaching Design Team.

## Turnitin
Teachers were required to migrate their Turnitin LTI assignments to the Turnitin Plagiarism Review tool in Canvas before 1 July 2024. To support the transition we ran drop-in sessions for staff. One of these sessions was recorded.

## VPN service (FortiClient software)
Support options for FortiClient VPN software.

- If you have encountered problems with FortiClient on non-University-supplied devices, you may have an older version of the software. Follow the steps from page 10 of the instruction document provided to the [VPN Service page](https://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/students/academic-information/postgraduate-students/postgraduate/postgraduate-support-and-services/vpn-service.html) to ensure your software is up to date.
