# Grants

Grants are gift aid that do not need to be repaid. 

There are three types of grants for which a student may be eligible:

- **Federal**
- **State**
- **University (UC)**

All grant types are awarded based on a student’s financial need as determined by the FAFSA or CADAA and program eligibility requirements.
