## Profile

Professor Pradipta Ghosh, MD, investigates how molecules and cellular communication influence health and disease. As the faculty director of UC San Diego School of Medicine Institute for Network Medicine, she explores new interdisciplinary methods in drug development testing that unite mathematics, computer science, microbiology, virology and tissue engineering, while also inspiring and mentoring graduate student researchers.
