##### Director’s Message

The interdisciplinary research center for Finance and Digital Economy (IRC-FDE) was established in 2021 as a new research engine at KFUPM Business School. The IRC-FDE focuses on four research themes; digital ecosystem and innovation, AI applications, FinTech, and quantitative economics and policy.\

The IRC-FDE is a game changer and represents the first truly integrated and well-supported research platform that would enhance the University research portfolio in this area. This research center aims to address grand research challenges, tackle local and global priorities, and engage effectively with industry to provide viable solutions for a thriving economy.
