- Utilizing a technique whereby carbon dioxide (CO2) is integrated into the composition of concrete serves to diminish its carbon footprint and foster the development of a more environmentally sustainable concrete.
- Findings from an extensive experimental study, encompassing numerous specimens with diverse CO2-to-binder content ratios, are disclosed.
- These specimens were fabricated to assess concrete workability, mechanical characteristics, and durability performance.
- All specimens underwent field curing and were subjected to the coastal conditions prevalent in Ras Al-Khair industrial city, Saudi Arabia.
