Dr. Subhan Ahmed joins IRC-CBM as a Postdoctoral Fellow

IRC-CBM welcomes new Post-Doctoral Fellow Dr. Subhan Ahmad, who joined the center in March 2023. Dr. Ahmad’s research interests include the behavior of concrete structures under elevated temperatures, self-compacting concrete, concrete-filled steel tubes, sustainable and durable concrete structures, industrial and agricultural wastes in concrete structures, and soil stabilization. He is the Principal Investigator of an internally funded IRC-CBM project on using plastic waste and silica fume in concrete structures. Dr. Ahmad has one granted patent and published twenty-eight research articles in top-tier international journals. Dr. Ahmad participated in several international conferences as a keynote speaker, presenter, scientific committee member, and session chair. He has also reviewed more than 60 research papers for top-tier international journals.
