Dr. Ashraf Bahraq joins IRC-CBM as a Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Ashraf Bahraq has joined IRC-CBM as a postdoctoral fellow. He is currently working in the field of Alkali-Activated Materials, Carbon Sequestration, Nuclear waste Storage, low carbon cements, alternative supplementary cementitious materials, Gibbs energy minimization simulation, masonry products, durability, ductility testing and various treatment methods for making sustainable building materials. He utilizez different microstructural techniques such as XRD, FT-IR, NMR, XPS, LFM, TGA, XRF, and MIP to study the properties of cement concrete.
