KFUPM Global Engagement is dedicated to building meaningful partnerships with universities, industries, and institutions around the world. These collaborations enable us to offer students and faculty transformative opportunities, including study abroad programs, joint research initiatives, and global internships. By connecting diverse perspectives, we create a dynamic environment that equips our students to thrive as global citizens and contributors to the international community.

Our mission at KFUPM is to foster an inclusive and diverse campus environment by promoting international education, cultural exchange, and global collaborations. We aim to empower students, faculty, and staff to engage with the world, broaden their perspectives, and contribute to a more interconnected and globally aware community.

Objectives

Serve as a KFUPM’s main global resource office, collaborating with other departments relating to international business

Provide support and resources for all international collaborative initiatives.

Facilitate the Exchange of Faculty and Students

Promote and manage programs for faculty and student exchanges to enrich educational and research experiences.

Establish and Maintain KFUPM’s Global Partnerships and Agreements

Foster and sustain partnerships with international institutions to enhance academic and cultural exchange, and act as the primary office for negotiating and managing international contracts, Memorandums of Understanding and agreements.

Collaborate with International Associations and Organizations

Work with global associations and organizations to advance the university’s strategic goals.

Represent the University in International Activities

Participating in exhibitions and conferences relating to global education. Advocating for and promoting the university’s interests in global forums and activities.

Facilitate International Conferences and Workshops

Organize and support international cooperation conferences and workshops to foster global academic discourse.
