The construction industry generates significant waste, contributing to environmental and economic challenges. This research presents a smart vision-based approach to quantifying waste in construction projects, leveraging computer vision, machine learning, and IoT-enabled cameras. The system identifies, categorizes, and measures waste materials in real-time, providing actionable insights to project managers and construction stakeholders. The proposed method demonstrates potential for improving waste management practices and achieving greener construction processes, enabling circular economy processes from accurate and real-time waste generation data.
