- Perform experimental investigations on methane decomposition and carbon product formation.
- Conduct material and gas characterization using techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, and GC-MS.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD in Plasma Physics, Chemical Engineering or a related field, awarded in 2021 or later.
- Strong background in thermal or non-thermal plasma systems.
- Experience with reactor setup, process control, and analytical instrumentation.
- A consistent publication record with at least 5 Q1/Q2 journal articles per year.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
- PhD awarded in 2021 or later.
- No grades of D or F (or equivalent) in academic transcripts.
- PhD from a globally ranked top 200 university (overall or by subject in QS Rankings).
Preferred Experience:
- Prior research in methane pyrolysis, hydrogen production, or carbon material synthesis.
- Hands-on experience with plasma reactors, and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with safety procedures for high-temperature and reactive gas environments.
