Dr. Mohammed Al-Huri  joins IRC-CBM as a Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Mohammed Al-Huri has joined IRC-CBM as a postdoctoral fellow in September 2023. He has expertise in various fields, including reinforcement corrosion, concrete technology, ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), self-healing concrete, self-capturing concrete. He obtained his MS and PhD degrees from KFUPM. Dr. Al-Huri has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the knowledge and understanding of innovative construction materials and sustainable design practices. His research focuses on developing advanced materials such as UHPC and self-healing concrete to improve the durability and performance of infrastructure systems. In addition, Dr. Al-Huri's expertise also extends to energy-efficient materials and systems for sustainable building design. He is currently conducting research on topics such as energy optimization in buildings, smart materials for energy conservation, and the integration of renewable energy sources into urban environments.
