##### Director’s Message

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of our Center and present our approach to meeting many of the challenges facing the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry in Saudi Arabia. We strive to create research capacity, execute research projects, and collaborate with industry and government to build a knowledge-based economy. Our research programs are strategic as well as interdisciplinary, and involve both basic and applied research. The Center’s strategic goal is to be the primary source and focal point of research and development and technical support for the petroleum refining, petrochemicals and polymers industries in the Kingdom.
We look forward to continuing our efforts in applied research and making positive impact on the Saudi petroleum refining and petrochemical industries.
