Dr. Vinoth Kumar Selvaraj joins IRC-CBM as a Post Doctoral Fellow

The IRC-Construction and Building Materials at KFUPM is pleased to welcome Dr. Vinoth Kumar Selvaraj as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. in Biocomposites from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), India, in 2023. Prior to joining KFUPM, Dr. Selvaraj served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at VIT Chennai (2023–2025).

His research expertise includes recycled and bio-based composites, acoustic and thermal insulation, flammability performance of polymer composites, and process optimization for multifunctional materials. Dr. Selvaraj has played key roles in nationally funded projects supported by MSME, DRDO, and DST-SERB, bridging the gap between academic research and industrial applications.

At IRC-Construction and Building Materials, Dr. Selvaraj’s future research will focus on circular materials, multifunctional insulation systems, and sustainable polymer technologies to support next-generation construction and industrial applications.
