#### Fundamental AI Research

The Fundamental AI Research targets research publications in top venues, patents, and feeds the applied research at the center.

#### Product Development

Product developments are deployed by the end of a project, preferably within KFUPM for ease of data collection and approvals. The outcome of the development is a working prototype.\

#### Application-based Project (IRC collaboration)

The project involves one or more affiliates from an Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC). The project supports and enables AI within IRCs domains and benefits from their domain knowledge expertise.

#### Grand Projects

This project is a multi-phase initiative that spans fundamental research, experimental development, and scalable deployment. It aims to deliver high-impact scientific contributions, build reusable tools and datasets, and serve as a foundation for future AI advancements both within the center and across the broader research community.\

#### Summer Internship Program

The center hosts non-KFUPM students, whether at the university or high school levels, during the summer.\
