Whether you’re at UT for a short-term program, as an undergraduate or scholar, or as international faculty or dependent, we have classes to help you reach the level of English proficiency you need. We also host social events, tours, conversation groups and other gatherings to help build community and make you feel more at home at UT and in U.S. culture.

Teach English Abroad

Our CELTA certificate program gives you the essential skills and knowledge you need to teach English abroad.

Online English Courses

The English Language Center offers three online courses:  self-paced pronunciation, self-paced intermediate writing, and a live speaking class that meets via Zoom.
