### [English Language and Culture](https://global.utexas.edu/english-language-center/programs/customized/language-and-culture)
We can create an English language and cultural immersion program specifically for the needs of your group. All programs combine intensive coursework in English as a Second Language and cultural excursions. Classes cover a variety of topics including the English language, American culture, and academic coursework in writing, grammar, listening and speaking. Dates are flexible and programs range in length from two weeks to a full semester.
### [English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) Training](https://global.utexas.edu/english-language-center/programs/customized/english-medium-instruction-emi-training)
Our unique EMI program combines a thorough needs assessment with online and in-person classes as well as a post-training mentoring component. The classes focus on three main areas for EMI development: Language Proficiency, Holistic Course Design, and Compensatory Strategies. During the two to four week in-person portion of the program, participants benefit from being on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Following the in-person training, we offer a three to four-month virtual mentoring component to make sure that skills learned are implemented in the classroom.
### [English Teacher Training](https://global.utexas.edu/english-language-center/programs/customized/teacher-training)
Our customized English as a Foreign Language teacher training program is designed to produce the best TEFL teachers in primary, secondary and university-level education. The unique four-week program combines classroom and practical experiences to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to excel as instructors of English as a Foreign Language.
