Exam Information : - Exam Policies - Exam Instruction Template (coming soon) - Exam Types - Past Law School Exams

**Exam Submission to Student Affairs Office:** Exams must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office no later than one week prior to exam date. There are specific requirements as to the content of the instructions, page numbering, etc. Your Faculty Coordinator is knowledgeable about these requirements. To connect with the SAO staff member administering your exam, please contact StudentAffairs@law.utexas.edu.

**Exam Postponements:** Texas Law policy prohibits the administration of an exam prior to the scheduled exam date; however, under certain circumstances, a postponed exam may be allowed for an individual student or students. Exams are graded anonymously. If any student approaches you with questions regarding an exam postponement, in order to maintain anonymity, [direct the student to the Student Affairs Office](https://law.utexas.edu/students/postponing-law-school-exams/). Only the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs may approve a postponement, and only if certain criteria are met.

Grades and Grading : - Grading Policies - Texas Law Honor Code - Academic Integrity - Electronic Submission of Grades - University Code of Conduct

**Responding to Violations of the Honor Code:** If you suspect that plagiarism or another violation of the Honor Code has occurred in your course, immediately contact the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, who can advise you about how to proceed. All disciplinary sanctions must follow University procedures, including reporting requirements.

Parking : The best short-term option for close parking is the San Jacinto Garage through the Occasional Parking Program, which costs $5 per entry. Set up your account in advance through My Parking Profile.

Faculty with [long-term parking](https://parking.utexas.edu/parking/faculty-staff-parking) needs should add themselves to the waitlist for the San Jacinto Garage and applicable F surface lot parking.

Hiring Student Employees (Resident Faculty Only) : Your faculty development allowance (FDA) may be used for expenses related to academic pursuits, including to pay wages to Research Assistants and Student Associates. Your Faculty Program Coordinator can work with Law HR to hire students for you.

Faculty may also work with **Academic Assistants** (formerly called Teaching Assistants) to support their teaching. Faculty applications for Academic Assistants are welcomed at the time that faculty submit their time preferences for course scheduling for a particular semester. Academic Assistants are generally appropriate for 1L and other large courses.

Additional details are found on the [Law HR Student Employment webpage](https://law.utexas.edu/offices/human-resources/student-employment/).
