Next Steps – International Students

In addition to the checklist above, please review the following steps to ensure you’re ready for your semester with us.

  1. Financial Aid

  2. International students are not eligible for federal financial aid and should not complete the FAFSA.

  3. Some international students who qualify for Texas residency may be eligible for state-funded financial aid programs. These students should submit the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA).
  4. The recommended method is the online eTASFA, although a paper TASFA is also available. Visit the Apply page on the Texas One Stop website for instructions.
  5. Additional information about financial aid and scholarship opportunities for international students is available from Texas Global.
