Immunization Requirements for Students

Texas Global cannot answer questions or offer guidance about vaccination and TB screening. For questions about these issues, contact University Health Services  (UHS) directly at imm@uhs.utexas.edu or (512) 475-8301.

International students cannot register for classes until they have submitted acceptable documentation to University Health Services (UHS) that they have met the medial clearance requirements below.

  1. Proof of a meningococcal (bacterial meningitis) vaccine as defined at the link provided below. This requirement applies only to students who will be age 21 or younger on the first official class day of the semester they enter UT.
  2. Proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubellaas specifically defined at the link provided below.
  3. A tuberculosis (TB) screening test as specifically described in the link provided below.

IMPORTANT:Each requirement involves dates for which vaccines and/or TB screenings are acceptable AND criteria for acceptable documentation for each requirement.
