The U.S. Department of State issued an updated “Worldwide Caution” security alert on June 23, 2025, due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and increased potential for demonstrations against U.S. citizens and interests. The update advises travelers to exercise increased caution.

As always, the top priority of the Texas Global Risk and Safety team is to support students and employees traveling abroad.
