# Eligibility Requirements for U.S. Military Veterans

The Veterans Application is intended for U.S. military veterans. Veterans of other national militaries should not use this application, but are welcome to apply via our other [application options](https://admission.brown.edu/apply). Applicants wishing to transfer from U.S. military academies are encouraged to apply as transfer students using the Common Application. Individuals who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree are not eligible to apply. If you are a current active duty member, please be sure to speak to your Educational Service Officer (ESO) or counselor within your military service prior to enrolling.

Create an account and start the Veterans Application here. The application is available in August for prospective entrance in the fall of the following year. The application deadline is March 1.
