# Financial Aid for RUE Applicants
Brown is committed to meeting 100 percent of demonstrated financial need for all undergraduates.
- International RUE applicants will be considered under Brown's need-aware financial aid policy, consistent with University policy for all other application rounds.
- Applicants to the RUE program who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and eligible to apply as first-year applications will be considered under Brown's need-blind admission policy, consistent with University policy for all first-year applicants.
- RUE applicants who are classified as transfer applicants due to prior college-level coursework are considered for admission on a need-aware basis, consistent with University policy for transfer applicants.
### Financial Aid Applications and Deadlines
Applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid must complete Brown’s [RUE Financial Aid Application](https://finaid.brown.edu/apply/rue) online by March 1.
Applicants must also submit the FAFSA and Federal Income Tax returns, if applicable. Please see complete policy information and links to forms on the [Office of Financial Aid](https://www.brown.edu/about/administration/financial-aid/) website.
