**Andrews Commons**— one of Brown's main dining facilities, serving lunch and dinner; a main gathering area for first-year students
**APMA** — Applied Mathematics, an academic division exploring the connections between math and its applications in biology, chemistry, physics and other disciplines
**Blue Room Café**— breakfast and lunch spot located in the Campus Center
**Brown Mock Trial**— a collegiate mock trial team that competes on the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) circuit; one of more than 400 student clubs and organizations
**Brown RISD Hillel** — campus center for Jewish life
**DUG** — Departmental Undergraduate Group, a community of students sharing a concentration, or related concentrations, that plans events and activities together
**Engineering Research Center**— building with classrooms, labs and other spaces for interdisciplinary research and study in engineering
**Faunce Steps**— popular area for gathering and listening to speakers and performers
**Figure Skating** — one of more than 40 club sports at Brown
**Friedman Hall**— busy classroom building located off College Green
**Grad Center**— set of four residential buildings (A, B, C and D) for sophomores, juniors, and seniors
**The Hay**— John Hay Library, one of three “sacred libraries” on campus that house special collections.
**Ivy Room**— dining spot located in the basement of Sharpe Refectory, open for lunch and dinner
**Jo’s** — Josiah’s, a popular late-night dining spot open daily to 2 a.m.
**Main Green**— also known as College Green; an outdoor community gathering space and the site of Commencement, Campus Dance, concerts and social events
**Nelson Fitness Center** — multipurpose fitness center featuring exercise machines, a strength and conditioning center and other spaces
**OMAC**— Olney-Margolies Athletic Center; features an indoor track; basketball, volleyball and badminton courts; and other athletic spaces
**Ratty**— Sharpe Refectory, affectionately known as the Ratty, is an all-you-care-to-eat, buffet-style dining hall with an in-house butcher and bakeshop
**The Rock** — John D. Rockefeller Library, Brown’s largest library, with about 1.5 million volumes
**Salomon**— features the largest lecture hall on campus, with more than 500 seats
**Stephen Robert ’62 Campus Center**— home to a variety of student services offices and meeting spaces
**V-dub**— Verney-Woolley Dining Hall, an all-you-care-to eat buffet-style dining hall
