The **Learning & Education Studies, BS** with a concentration in Inclusive Leadership & Learning in Organizations, addresses the growing demand across sectors for graduates equipped to advance organizational change, lead in the workplace, and navigate barriers across diverse populations. This program will provide students with an overview of organizational leadership, specifically regarding diversity and inclusion. Students will also learn how organizations can address contemporary environmental and political challenges to enact sustainable and meaningful change.

Graduates from this program will be prepared to pursue graduate education or careers in education, government, non-profit, business, and public policy sectors, including but not limited to:

 • Equal employment opportunity specialist   • Higher Education Admissions Counselor    • Education policy analyst    • Training and Development Coordinator  • Public Engagement Coordinator  • Human Resources Specialist    • Education Program Manager • Employee Learning & Engagement Specialist

An internship is recommended during the program, but it is not required. For internship credit, students can register in [EPOL 491](https://catalog.illinois.edu/search/?P=EPOL%20491 "EPOL 491") Supervised Internship before the internship starts. At the end of the internship, a letter from the internship supervisor is submitted to the Inclusive Leadership & Learning in Organizations concentration contact.

**Graduation Requirements**

Minimum hours required for graduation: 120 hours.

**University Requirements**

Minimum of 40 hours of upper-division coursework, generally at the 300- or 400-level. These hours can be drawn from all elements of the degree. Students should consult their academic advisor for additional guidance in fulfilling this requirement.
