# Paid Parking

**Please note that no free parking is available on weekdays.** Unless specified otherwise, you must park at a meter and pay electronically to avoid receiving a ticket. UIUC is not liable for any tickets issued during your visit.

If you don't have a smartphone, you can call 217-207-3033 to pay over the phone. If you'd prefer to purchase a full-day parking permit, contact our [university parking department](https://www.parking.illinois.edu/permits-forms/visitor-permits) at 217-333-3530 at least 24 hours before your visit. Make sure to have your credit card and license plate number available.
