Welcome / Welcome Back Week
We're glad you are here! Welcome/Welcome Back events are opportunities for new and returning students to connect with the university resources, communities, programs, and opportunities available to them as graduate students at Illinois.
Graduate Student Appreciation Week
Graduate Student Appreciation Week is an opportunity to celebrate graduate students at Illinois and throughout our campus community. It's on of our favorite weeks of the year!
Graduate Student Appreciation Week 2025 will be April 7 – 11.
Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
We are immensely proud to celebrate our graduates who have earned their doctorate, along with their faculty mentors.
The doctoral hooding takes place every December and May.
