for the Undergraduate Minor in Atmospheric Sciences
The minor in Atmospheric Sciences is designed for students who desire a significant background in weather and climate to support work in their major field. This minor will especially benefit students who choose to pursue careers in environmental areas in which multidisciplinary background is essential. The Atmospheric Science minor can complement majors in engineering and agriculture; or scientific pursuits such as chemistry, physics, biology, data analytics, and scientific writing.

for the Undergraduate Minor in Atmospheric Sciences
- All students will have understanding of core areas of atmospheric sciences including: atmospheric radiation, atmospheric thermodynamics, atmospheric dynamics, and weather systems.
- All students will have the ability to analyze atmospheric properties both qualitatively and quantitatively.
- All students will have an understanding of, and ability to communicate the societal impacts of weather and climate.
