Students whose home university has no formal exchange agreement with Lund University can instead consider our Study Abroad Swedish Language programme for a period of one or two semesters.

Courses and programmes – what's the difference

The word programme refers to a full degree programme consisting of several courses. A course is a stand‑alone module that can be studied either as part of a degree programme or on its own. Degree programmes usually run over a set period of one, two, three or four years. The duration of a course can range from a few weeks to a few months.
