Lund University collaborates and cooperates with top universities all over the world through international networks, programmes and platforms.

Global Dynamic Engagement (GDE) is Lund University's approach to enhance our international impact in research, education, innovation and cooperation. In this work, democracy, human rights, academic freedom, and accountability are core values.

Through GDE, we aim to strengthen and develop our collaborations in Asia. Our priority activities here are outlined in an annual roadmap.

Sweden-Korea Education, Research and Innovation Collaboration (SKERIC)

It is primarily a collaboration to promote research and innovation, which also aims to strengthen ties after South Korea's entry into Horizon Europe. Three activities will run throughout the duration of the project:

Nordic Centre India (NCI)

NCI is a consortium of 18 Nordic universities, aiming to promote research and education collaboration between the Nordic countries and India.

The NCI is administered by a Nordic secretariat, currently at Tampere University, and has a liaison office/manager’s residence in New Delhi.

The NCI provides various types of support to researchers, teachers and students and offers summer courses, regular courses lasting one semester and internships for students at NCI's partner universities in India.

Nordic Centre Fudan, China

The Nordic Centre at Fudan University in Shanghai is a consortium of 20 Nordic universities. Through joint research projects and education programmes, it aims to increase mutual understanding and forge closer ties between the Nordic countries and China.
