# IMAGES : La médecine de la femme et de l’enfant assistée par l’image
GRC 26
- Groupe de recherche clinique
La thématique au cœur du groupe de recherche clinique IMAGES est la médecine assistée par l’image le terme « image » est pris dans une acception large regroupant à la fois l‘imagerie ultrasonore, l‘imagerie radiographique basée sur les rayonnements ionisants, l’imagerie par résonance magnétique mais aussi d’autres modalités d’imagerie.\
Le GRC rassemble des spécialités à forte synergie, utilisant l’image en routine et en recherche, et impliquées dans la prise en charge de la femme, du fœtus et de l’enfant.

### Axes de recherches
Les travaux du GRC se répartissent selon deux axes :
- l’axe 1 vise à l’amélioration de l’exploitation des images, par le développement d’intelligences artificielles et des nouvelles technologies pour le dépistage, le diagnostic et l’imagerie interventionnelle
- l’axe 2 a pour but la diminution de l’exposition aux radiations par développement de modalités d’imagerie peu ou pas irradiantes
