The Bereavement Café

This is a monthly café designed to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for students who have been impacted by loss. It will welcome all students, regardless of faith or background, who have been affected by bereavement, whether recent or in the past. The aim is to help students connect, share experiences, and support each other through their grief journeys.

The café will be led by Chaplain Annie McCormick and supported by a Health & Wellbeing Practitioner. The Café will take place monthly at the Chaplaincy.

Labyrinth Sessions

These guided sessions offer a unique, reflective space for students, regardless of faith or background, to engage with personal challenges, enhance their reflective practice, and develop problem-solving skills. The labyrinth, an ancient tool for walking meditation, offers a powerful, non-verbal method for exploring issues. Participants can move beyond conventional thought patterns to find clarity and new perspectives.

Led by Chaplain Annie McCormick and a Health & Wellbeing Practitioner, each one-hour session has a three-part structure: setting an intention, walking the labyrinth, and a post-walk reflection.
