Thrive™ is an interactive in-person programme, delivered by an experienced team here at Warwick, to support students with their confidence, resilience and agency.

## Why Thrive™?
Open to undergraduates and postgraduates, Thrive™ is free to attend.
Thrive™ can help you:
- Increase your self-awareness through understanding your strengths and values
- Grow your confidence through exploring boundary setting and assertiveness
- Feel empowered, overcome self-doubt and increase resilience
- Push beyond your comfort zone
- Make connections with like-minded students, start to build a community of support

## **2025/26 Thrive™ Programme**
**Applications will open 9am 1 October 2025.**
Like to get fully immersed? Apply for our 2 day intense programme in either December 2025 (Programme 1) or February 2026 (Programme 3).
Need time to reflect? Apply for our month-long programme over 4 half days starting in either January 2026 (Programme 2) or February 2026 (Programme 4).
Please note, attendance is required at all sessions within a programme.

**2 full consecutive days**

## **Applications**
Places are limited and demand is typically high! We will have a waiting list in place for each programme. If you sign up for a place, and can no longer make it, please ensure you cancel your place, so that someone else may benefit from attending.
## **Warwick Award**
If you are working towards the Warwick Award, through attending the Thrive™ programme in full, you can acquire 3 Core Skills Points.

## **Build your support network**
All Thrive participants are added to a Teams space and invited to further events following programme attendance, such as our annual Thrive Celebration Event and summer picnic! A Thrive book club, run by students has started. All Thrive participants are invited to become a Thrive Student Champion if they want to.

Who is the programme suitable for? Can anyone apply?
Thrive is open to all students, all ages, undergraduates and postgraduates. Apply [using the links on this page](#Programmes), during the application windows.
Additional tailored Thrive programmes have been developed in partnership with academic departments, the Centre for Lifelong Learning and the Widening Participation team. The tailored programmes are by invitation and you will be contacted directly if you are eligible to apply.
How many students will be on each programme?
30 – this relatively small number will help everyone make the most of the programme.
What is the format of the programme?
The programme will be a mix of taught content, activities and quizzes, small-group workshops and reflection time.
You will be invited to talk about certain topics - you only need to talk about whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
I like the idea of the weekly workshops, can I attend just a couple of the sessions?
No, you need to be able to commit to all 4 sessions of the weekly workshops, to ensure you go through the whole programme.
How are places assigned?
Due to high demand for places, students will be invited to apply for a place; once the closing date is reached, you will be notified if your application has been successful.

so that we can support you with any necessary adjustments.
Is lunch/refreshments provided?
No unfortunately not. Please bring your own lunch/refreshments. Suitable breaks will be provided.
Who is delivering the programme?
Sarah Bennett (Skills Developer) is managing the programme and Sarah or another Thrive Leader will be present throughout. Content delivery will be from a variety of highly experienced facilitators who work in different departments at Warwick and bring a wealth of experience with them.
I work at Warwick and would like to join the Thrive programme as a facilitator. What should I do?
If you would like to express interest in being trained as a facilitator, please email to register your interest. Please note, all facilitators are in place for 2025-26 delivery.
