Personal Tutoring
Information for Students
Who?
Every student is allocated a Personal Tutor when they first arrive at the University.
A Personal Tutor is a member of academic staff from your home department.
What?
Your Personal Tutor is designed to be a first point of contact for any issues, questions or advice related to your studies, life at Warwick, career opportunities etc. Their support will mainly be academic, but they will be able to signpost you towards pastoral services too.
When?
You will meet with your Personal Tutor 1:1 a minimum of once per term, as a general check-in. However, you can request more meetings if needed.
How?
You can find out who your Personal Tutor is on Tabula. You should also receive an email from them at the beginning of the academic year.
Any issues, you should contact your department, or your Senior Tutor, in the first instance.
