SiteBuilder is developed and maintained in-house at Warwick - anyone in the University can influence its development through feature requests on [our ServiceNow form](https://warwick.service-now.com/sp?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=6470f25c1bd78d1030f0edb2b24bcb4d), or by engaging in our [user community](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/usergroup/).

We provide free support for SiteBuilder via the above form and the [IDG Service Desk](https://warwick.ac.uk/helpdesk/), including guidance on how to structure and build a good website and advice on functionality and design.

### What You See Is What You Get

Use SiteBuilder's [Components Editor](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/content/intro/) to create your own page layout - add and arrange text, images and other components to build your page exactly how you want it to look.

### Content Management System

SiteBuilder hosts your pages on Warwick's secure servers with no size limit. And once you've made your site, it's easy to [copy content](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/copy-content/) or [move pages](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/move/) where you need them.

### Forms

Collect users' preferences, ratings or ask open-ended questions to gather the data you need right from your site. [SiteBuilder Forms](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/forms/) are integrated with the University payments system, enabling you to sell fixed- or custom-price items.

### News & Events

Inform visitors to your site about the [latest updates](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/news/) and [upcoming events](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/calendar/). Add tags to sort and filter entries, or add a feed showing selected items on another page.

### Resource Booking

[Set up and share resources](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/resource/) and allow visitors to your site to book slots - for example rooms, equipment, or a diary to meet with students or colleagues.

### Forums

Create an area on your site where users can [discuss topics](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/forums/). Assign permissions for others to view, post, moderate, or edit topics and posts.

### Mobile friendly

SiteBuilder automatically scales your content to your visitors' screen - build your page once, and SiteBuilder takes care of the rest!

### Custom design

Add and arrange components to create the page you want. Create columns, change colours, and include images for maximum visual impact.

### Cloud Storage

With SiteBuilder, your site is stored on Warwick's secure servers, meaning free and unrestricted storage with minimal disruption - keeping your content available to users.

### Analytics

Get [information on your site traffic](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/analytics/sb-stats), including views, top pages and how visitors found your content - all in SiteBuilder, with no further tools required.

### Accessible

SiteBuilder's components are designed from the ground up to be accessible, and the Components Editor's [Accessibility pane](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/content/accessibility-pane/#components-editor) checks your content as you create it, alerting you to common accessibility issues.

### SEO optimised

Your SiteBuilder content benefits from the University of Warwick's SEO (search engine optimisation) scores, and appears in [Warwick Search](https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/web/search) results.

### Access control

SiteBuilder sites use your University IT Account, with no additional accounts or passwords.

Make your pages public, [restrict access to specific groups or individuals](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/permissions/) and specify who can edit your site's content.

### Secure

We maintain the security of SiteBuilder sites and the data they contain, and log activity on our web servers to help prevent unauthorised access and other threats to the University's web content.

## Integrations

### Warwick Accounts

SiteBuilder integrates with your University IT account to give you access to the right content, and make sure that the right people get access to yours.

### WebGroups

[WebGroups](https://webgroups.warwick.ac.uk/) makes managing access to your pages easier. You can define a group of users once and then use that group anywhere you want.

### Ideate

Embed researcher information in your web page - a full profile, publications only or research only.

### Search

Pages built with SiteBuilder can appear in [Warwick Search](https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/web/search), helping visitors easily find your content.

### Online Payments

[SiteBuilder forms](https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder/manual/pages/forms/) are integrated with the University's online payments system, enabling you to sell fixed- or custom-priced items.

### Socials
