The Governance Assurance and Risk Group, led by Chris Twine (University Secretary) supports Warwick's academic and professional services community to manage risks and improve decision-making so we can continue to deliver our world-class education and research.

Internal Audit & Assurance

Internal Audit and Assurance strengthens the University's ability to create, protect and sustain value by providing management and the Audit & Risk Committee with independent and risk-based assurance and advice.

It oversees compliance obligations and supports the University community to effectively and efficiently manage these.

Governance

Formal Committees of the University Council and the Senate provide our effective decision-making structure.

Health & Safety Team

The Health and Safety Services team provide occupational health and safety advice, training and support to all departments, whilst also providing assurance on occupational health and safety matters to senior leaders. The team covers areas such as radiation, laser, biological, chemical, fire and food safety.

Information Security, Risk & Compliance

Information Security, Risk & Compliance define and deliver information security and compliance services, ensuring that the risk of incidents is reduced in line with the University’s risk appetite and compliance obligations are met to support the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives.

Risk & Resilience

Risk and Resilience provides the frameworks for incident management, risk management, business continuity and information security.

University Calendar

The University Calendar covers our formal make-up alongside our history and officers.

Honorary Graduands

The University awards honorary degrees to individuals of high intellectual or cultural distinction or those who have served the University or the community. These are typically awarded during the University's degree congregations held in January and July each year.
