We don’t provide external event marketing, but if your event has significant media potential, we can discuss possible press opportunities.

We work closely with the University’s internal communications and social media teams so can advise if those channels will work for event promotion.

We assess each request based on its newsworthiness, timing, and media interest. If suitable, we can help draft and distribute a release.

Can you summarise your research in one sentence? This helps us quickly identify whether the story is suitable for media and gets straight to the heart of your research.

Next, answer the following questions to help shape the research section of your press release: Who? What? Where? When? Why?

Please keep your answers simple and jargon-free – the aim is to make your research understandable to a wide audience, including those without a technical background.

We also recommend including two quotes from people involved in the project.

If you have any accompanying images or videos, please share those with us too.
