## Flexible and Online Learning Division

The Flexible and Online Learning Division (FOLD) leads the University’s work to expand flexible, high-quality education through both digital and work-based learning. We support the development and delivery of online and blended teaching, as well as the design and management of Degree Apprenticeships and other work-based programmes, ensuring compliance with national funding and regulatory requirements.

FOLD brings together two specialist services: **Digital Learning** and **Work-Based & Professional Learning**.

Digital Learning operates as interconnected specialist teams – Faculty Support, Learning Design and Educational Technology. Together, we partner with staff to co-design tailored digital solutions that align with teaching goals.

Our dedicated Apprenticeships Team supports academic departments in the design and delivery of their apprenticeship programmes.
