The Nursery
Provides onsite wrap-around childcare for University of Warwick members with children aged 3 months to 5 years. Staff at the University of Warwick Innovation Campus at Stratford are able to use the Old Station Nursery at Wellesbourne. - ## A safe and stimulating place

Our purpose-built Nursery on Lakeside creates a unique environment. We can also utilise many other campus facilities such as the Warwick Arts Centre and the indoor Tennis Centre at Westwood. - ## Dedicated and engaged staff

The Nursery provides wrap-around childcare for staff and students of the University of Warwick with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
We provide high-quality care and education across all age groups and the children are at the very heart of everything we do.

### Rated outstanding for the third time
In July 2021 the nursery was judged as outstanding by Ofsted for the third consecutive time, Ofsted are the regulatory body responsible for the registration and inspection of Early Years Care and Education.
Previously the nursery had been judged as outstanding in 2011 and 2016.

Early Years Framework
We are guided by the Early Years Framework, defined by the Dept of Education, revised 2025.
There are four key themes that shape our philosophy:
Preparation for school
Older children immerse themselves in their learning by frequently making choices about how they wish to spend their time at nursery. They move between the outside and indoor areas. Older children share very strong friendships with their peers and are extremely well prepared for the next stage in their lives, such as starting school.\ OFSTED, 2021
