Abstract

Ghana's tropical climate requires cooling systems for comfortable living and working conditions. However, traditional air conditioning systems are energy intensive, contributing to high electricity bills and greenhouse gas emissions. With Ghana's increasing focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency, there is a growing need for sustainable cooling solutions. This project aims to design, develop, and deploy a solar-powered air conditioning system specifically tailored for Ghanaian homes, providing an affordable, reliable, and environmentally friendly cooling solution for households across the country. By utilizing Ghana's abundant solar energy resources, this innovative system will reduce energy consumption, lower electricity costs, and contribute to a more sustainable future for Ghanaian communities.
